I have two questions -- Has anyone stayed in room#'s 6002 or 6004? These are category 11 rooms, but they are on the outside. They have no windows, but I was wondering if they still have the split bath since they were originally considered category 8's. Second question is about Mr. Sanchos in Cozumel. Is there much for kids ranging from 3 to 6 to do? Can someone tell me a little bit more about this. Do they have a website? Thanks!!

We traveled with children ranging from 2-9 and they seemed to have fun at Mr. Sanchos. There is a pool available here (I didn't check it out but the kids played in it most of the day) and they went jet skiing also. There is food and drink available and some shops to browse through. Also, I would suggest bringing sand toys or buying some in Florida before you board the ship. We spent most of the day here and the kids weren't complaining. Hope that helps.

Thank you for the information. Do you have to reserve anything before the trip? Is there a fee to go to the beach? Has anyone eaten the food? If so, did anyone get sick. I would hat to ruin a vacation ....

Anyone else have ideas for Cozumel? Just trying to find the best choice with young kids. What do most prefer -- Mr. Sanchos or Chankanaab? How is the shopping?

How are the beaches on the Western compared to beaches, say of Destin/Panama City? I have become so spoiled with my panhandle beaches, that anything else without white sugary sand doesn't rate! LOL Can anyone who has been to both compare for me?

Dsnepricess, I lived in Panama City Beach for 20 years and have NEVER seen white sand beach anywhere that compare. Trunk Bay in St John comes close. I have not been on the Western cruise yet (failed attempt last Sept. diverted to Eastern Ports due to hurricain Lilli)
BUT...the beaches of the Western do have something that PCB dosn't have and that is 1st class snorkeling! Try not to compare them, and enjoy them for the differences. PCB dosn't have palm tree lined beaches, horseback riding on the beach or Jeep/dune buggy rides over the dunes.
Have a great cruise.
