Only 2 bedroom and Royal suites on the Magic or Wonder will accommodate 6 guests. The prices will vary.

Can I get a idea of a price so I know about where to start??

Two cabins are probably our best option.....as PP said DCL website is where you should start.:thumbsup2

It's difficult to guess, rates vary throughout the year as mentioned. Actually the suite prices do not vary much, compared to the non suites IMO.
I just noticed DCL site won't let me book/price 7 pax. :confused3

I found a 11/30/13, Wonder, 7 night, cat S, 2 bedroom, 1st two pax @ $3850, average for each addition at $720, so for 5 it came to 10.2K, but add 2 more and it would be around 11.9K.

This sounds a bit high to me. It's because it's not booked far enough out.
These prices are higher than most other lines, but few, if any, offer a stateroom for 7 pax.

The Magic and Wonder are the ships with these cabins, the cat R and S, that sleep 7. Great cabins BTW. The Magic will go to drydock and get a refurb, and be ready for sailing 10/20/13. So if possible book her after referub.
IIRC the Wonder will have her refurb the following year.

Some book multiple non suite cabins instead of the high price for the suites. You have to price it out. Sometimes it's more, sometimes not.

I now see you are interested in 3-4 night sailings.
Found Magic, 4 night, 11/5/14, cat S, 1st 2 pax @ 2120/ea, each additional @ 400. So for 7 pax $7-8K. Cat R for 7 pax, $9-10K

Magic, 4 night, 11/19/14, cat S, 1st pax @ 2040/ea, each additional @ 400. So for 7 pax $7-8K. Cat R , $8-9K.

Not knowing any ages or such I just did a generic search for Oct 25 2014 with 5 people in the 2 bedroom suite is $19,556.85 and it is an additional $1813.00 so basically around $21.500 for the six of you. If you were looking around the summer time on Aug 2nd 2014 the price would be $32960.60 for 5 and the 6th person would be $1148.00 so basically around $34000.00 Hope this helps you get started :)

I didn't see a cruise for the 10/25/2014 or 08/02/2014 dates. :confused3

I just looked again and they are there... I was checking the Fantasy out of PC. :confused3 Aug 2nd 2014 is the Western Itinerary C and Oct 25 2014 Is also the Western Itinerary C. I am looking directly at the DCL website Not sure why they are not showing up for you. :confused3 that's very odd.

Okay, that explains it. I only checked the Wonder and Magic. There are no staterooms on the Dream or Fantasy, that sleep more than 5. :)

:faint: For a week? Holy mackerel. That's far too rich for my blood.

We are a family of 5 and found a cat 4 on the Magic too small for our family. When my children were young, and having an autistic child, I didn't want to split us up even for a connecting room so we cruise in cat 3 or above on the Magic. As my kids got older I felt more comfortable finally trying connecting rooms and it worked great and it most likely would have been perfect when they were younger. It is much more expensive to cruise concierge now so unless you don't mind the cost or want the other services I would look into connecting staterooms. It is much more cost effective and give you plenty of room for all.

Disney Cruises have ALWAYS been more expensive than other cruise lines so if someone is looking for "the best price", they may want to shop on another cruise line. Disney provides one of the best "values" but to get that value you often have to pay a premium and that is the case here.

Most people would simply book two rooms rather than try to get into a suite that could hold 6 or 7. As you have seen from the above posts, suites with capacity to handle that many passengers often are THE most expensive suites on the ship. A good option is to book connection rooms and those can (usually) be found at prices 1/3rd to 1/2 of those suite prices listed for the same number of passengers and you can still see and talk to everyone by simply having the cabin steward open and secure the connecting cabin pass-through door. At least that was what we did on our 2012 5-person Alaskan cruise and it saved us around $5K off of the suite price

I will have to agree this it what I will do when it coms down to it... Lol the suites are way to much:)
