Rooms at WL and POR

I just booked 3 nights at the POR (Waterview) followed by 3 nights at the WL (courtyard view). Any room, floor or area recommendations for these two resorts? Should I call and make any requests?

You picked my two favorite resorts. You will have a great trip. The only thing I would say is to save your money at POR by requesting a standard room, instead of waterview. To me, it's not really worth paying for a view at the moderates. It's not like you'll be sitting out on a balconey enjoying it.

Either way, enjoy your trip. Good choice of resorts.

I second that on the waterview at POR. It would not be worth the money. As for building requests at POR. Here is a great detailed map that may help you. Port Orleans Riverside Map
We stayed in AB section because of the Trundles, but I really loved it and it would be my choice anyhow. I'd recommend a first floor request especailly if you are heavy packers. There are no elevators. 14, 18, 27 would be great locations. We were in 28 and it wasn't a terrible walk. I rather enjoyed it and there are little shortcuts you can take. I didn't even make it over to the Mansion side but it looked beautiful.

You'll have to report after your trip. I am anxious to hear which resort you like better. I visited the WL and it is stunning. I just don't know if I'd like it better than POR. POR is so relaxing. Have a wonderful trip!
