I posted last night that I thought my ressies were not under WDW but another "company" and after sleeping on it decided I better call and find out what was going on. I called the same 800# (actually received this number from the "411" telephone information center when I asked for WDW). Turns out this is the number/company you get when you ask for WDW Accommodations. Anyone else reserve through this system? I need to add two more persons and am considering adding the dining portion and thought I might want to cancel and rebook through AAA (I did get the discount but through this roomfinders and I understand it must be booked through AAA in order to add the dining). If this is not the case, please let me know. But back to ressies: anyone else use roomfinders by accident? :confused3

What # did you call? WDW has an 800#, it just isn't widely published. If you got CRO (Central Reservations), that's Disney, as is the WDTC (Walt Disney Travel Company).

Yes...not sure exactly what 800# you called either but...

...if you called 1-800-828-0228 (WDTC) it is the same as calling 1(407)W-Disney (CRO). I called originally once on the (407) W-Disney # and made a ressie and after finding out about the 800# shortly after I called it and they confirmed my ressie I made on the other # and that it was all the same place.

Not sure if this helps any as you didn't say the exact # you called but the 800# I just posted above is CRO's ;)

I did finally get answers to my own questions, thanks everyone for help that you lended. It turns out that the toll free 866-200-0058 is a company called RoomFinders. The agent that I spoke with today tells me they can are exactly the same as CRO but with a toll-free number and that, although Disney can pull up these ressies, they generally won't, and will tell me to call the agent I booked with. Well, that's okay I guess. They did confer that if I wanted to add the dining package I would have to cancel their ressie and go through AAA themselves although they were able to book a room-only AAA rate for me (which was MUCH lower than the one AAA quoted me). I'd be a bit concerned but I have booked through them before without realizing it wasn't WDW themselves and everything was find. They also told me that I'd receive Magical Express tags 21 days out from arrival. I am relieved :flower:
