Room View GF Sugar Loaf Building

Which is the best view at the Sugar Loaf? The pool or marina? We had a marina view and then switched it to a pool view on one of the upper floors. Just not sure now. We normally stay in the Main Building but they were all booked up when I made my reservation.

We had a marina view and we were very pleased with it!

We had a view of the pool and it was nice, but if you get a view of the marina, you can lean over your balcony and watch the fireworks over the MK....

We also had a marina view, and could see the monorail and fireworks (if you leaned out and looked right) from our balconies. It was nice, but I wouldn't pay extra for it over the pool view.

There are only a couple of rooms that offer any type of fireworks view (6313, 6315) but I like marina view anyway. I enjoy the quiet and hearing the sounds drifting over from the Magic Kingdom. As an FYI, there is no additional charge for a marina view on the club level.

Thanks everyone. I think we most likely will be changing back to the marina view. We wish April was here. We can't wait to go.

It's not a guarantee, but you can certainly update your view request at any time with IPO.

As an FYI, there are 3 lodge tower rooms in Sugar Loaf that offer a garden/pool view. There is no additional charge for these rooms, they're also available by request only. If you need the extra space, it may be something you want to look into. I haven't seen the renovated pictures yet, but a DIS'er that recently stayed in one is supposed to be uploading them soon. Two of the rooms have a balcony, however the 3rd floor room doesn't due to the slope of the roof.
