Room under bed?

Hi, we're leaving in under a month :cool1: and I just started thinking about the luggage to use. I saw some nice ones at Costco, but I want to be able to put them under the bed and don't know how much room is there.

Does anyone have the measurements of what room is available under there? I'm assuming all the beds in the different categories are the same. I saw two different bags. One is a soft side 26" suitcase, the other is a Samsonite 29" hardside (thou the sides do flex a little). I don't know the exact width, but if someone has the measurements, I'll go back with my tape measure! :sunny:

Thanks so much!

If the luggage doesn't slide underneath the bed just lift up the frame. :) Since it is two twin beds connected it is really easy to do. The bags fit fine underneath when you do this & you wont feel a lump in the bed from them. :)

My circa-1986 Sampsonite woman's 3 suiter hardside just fit under the bed in Dec - we packed all our "nice" clother in that - also great for coming home with pictures, slightly fragile, etc since it is more impervious to the luggae handlers. My empty LL Bean rolling advanture duffles also made it with no problem.

Our biggest concern was height clearance. We had one bag that would not fit under the beds at all.
