I just wanted to hear from you brides who got ready at the GF and had a nice sized wedding party (5-6 bridesmaids). Was there enough room for everyone to get ready together? Has anyone ever considered getting a ballroom "dressing room"? How did that work out? Pictures would be appreciated. Thanks so much.

We looked into renting a room in the convention center, but the cost was around $500 (I think).

We ended up getting ready in our Honeymoon Concierge room at the GF...BUT it was no bigger than the regular room we had in the Boca Chica building...except it had a king instead of two queens.

I had 5 BM's. All of us had our hair and makeup done by Patricia and Kristi. So, only two people could really be "worked on" at any given time. The rest of us sat around, talked, drank mimosas and ate :) It was great.

You can see Kristi doing hair here.

And Patricia worked in the vanity area.

We had the same kind of room at the GF also. It was big enough and my daughter had 5 bridesmaids, me (mother) and her Aunt getting either makeup or hair or both done and it was fine. We had such a wonderful afternoon together and by the time the photographer came to the room to do pictures we were already to go. The lady from Carolyn Allen had come earlier to deliver and steam the dresses and there was plenty of room, although by the time we all got dressed etc. the room was a big untidy. We had a beautiful view from the balcony also where the photographer took some pictures of my daughter with the castle in the background.
