Room to get ready in

Hi all,
I know this question was just asked, but I'm going to make this a bit more complicated ;) So my entire wedding party and I are staying at AllStars Movies Resort the day before the wedding, and the night of the wedding my fiance and I are staying the Polynesian. However, I hear the rooms at AllStars are quite small and I have a bridal party of 10 girls. I'm assuming it'd be next to impossible to all get ready together in that room, plus have a photographer there for most of the time. Does anyone have any suggestions of how we can all get ready together? Any and all would be helpful!

Art of Animation has suites? I've never stayed at a Value resort but I just know that if you are able to change there are bigger options at Art of Animation. But even in an average Deluxe resort room I would think it's pushing it having 10...you'd need two rooms and hope and pray they are near by? I don't know if you can request interconnecting?

10 plus you and a photographer, I would look at a 2 bedroom suite.... You're going to need room, a studio won't be it I don't think. And a suite will allow for a kitchen for drinks and nibbles while you all get ready:)

Yep, that is going to be incredibly hard to have 11 people get ready in there! Are you all sleeping in that room too??! Or do you already have two rooms? Another option is all star music, there is a family suite there.

One more thing..you are changing resorts the day of the wedding?? How are you going to move your stuff over there while you are getting ready? Just want to make sure you thought that through too :)

Yes, we wanted to choose a value resort for our guests coming in to make it easier for them to be able to attend the wedding, and we wanted to stay at the same resort as they were for the majority of the time. However, on our wedding night we wanted to get away for a little. Our parents will be helping to move the stuff :tinker:

Oh! To answer your first question, no we're not all sleeping in the room haha. We all have separate rooms :) Thank you!!

Oh perfect! I think you can request connecting rooms and then you will be fine! They normally put wedding blocks in the same area anyways.

Are you checking out of the All Star on the day of your wedding? Because if so, remember that you'll have to be out by 11 am.

Yep! Extremely complicated because I'll have to find elsewhere to put my stuff unless I somehow can get early check-in (before 3 PM) at the Polynesian... then only to have my stuff moved again. :sad2:

You can check into the Poly at any time and leave your stuff with Bell Services until your room is ready.

I think I read in another thread that your wedding is at the Grand Floridian, right? You might want to look into renting a small ballroom in the convention center there to get ready in. It probably won't be super cost effective, but I don't think it's as expensive as it sounds. Plus you'll have plenty of room to get ready in!

Good idea!! I'll have to look into that. THank you!
