What kind of things do you always ask your room steward for?
I plan on asking for a daily paper navigator, but other than that what do you always ask them?

My wife always wants an extra towel for her hair. I asked for an extra blanket on our last cruise. And we certainly will be asking for a paper Navigator.

Another ice bucket requester here, along with opening the divider between connecting verandas.

Last month, we requested to have the sharps disposal container removed from our bathrooms since we didn't have any to dispose of, but were told they are required to stay in the rooms. I'd never seen those before (last cruise was 2018).

I hand them a $20 and explain our normal routine and say hello. Never really ask for anything, but when needed will find them to ask for something and always very responsive.

In the old Days we would get fresh H20+ products (all 3 every day) without asking, maybe this was cause we were nice? Had a great collection to use when at home and on other trips, love that stuff.

Of course that perk went away but learned that there was a Blue "Solar Relief Gel" that is awsome for sunburn that our room steward would come up with if asked for.

We have asked for door stops to keep the connecting doors open between our staterooms, and then will sometimes explain which room we want the bunk or don't want the bunk open. That's about it!

FWIW, if they were used, they should be replaced with new ones. It's not like someone's old sharps are sitting there in the container.

It was clearly empty, but it took up valuable space in the bathroom. We just put it down on the bottom shelf, though. Even forgot it was there.

When i cruise with a friend and we don't want to share the bed, I ask for an extra duvet and pillow cause the sofabed is hard and the sheets are made for kids so with a duvet you can roll yourself into the duvet making the bed less hard and staying warm

On some other cruiselines you can get an egg crate mattress topper for the sofa bed. I don't know if DCL has them. My dd sleeps on the sofa and has never complained so we've never asked for one on DCL.

when were you told no 🤯
When I asked my room host if he could give me a paper navigator each day. He said he could not do that. So, after dinner each night I went to the customer service desks and asked for one and they gave me one. I was hoping to skip this step as there was a bit of a line each night.
