Room service question

I guess this falls under this forum. We will be at WDW the week after Easter and plan of the 29th being our MK day. I want to be at the park when it opens at 8 am. I am thinking that the best jump on the day is to order room service for breakfast so that we can get the fastbreak. (we are at the Poly) We are breakfast eaters and the earliest we could get PS at CRT was 2 pm so we have to have something. Any thoughts or experience?

We love getting a room service breakfast at the Polynesian. We didn't do it this past trip but we usually order it at least once. There is one of those preorder cards in the room to hang on the outside of your door. We always order that way. You mark the 1/2 hour time frame that you want. Service is great and in our experience, it usually arrives very close to the beginning of the 1/2 hour we've chosen.

And you can order Tonga Toast! Yum!

This may be weird but the Tonga toast is on my "Gotta Do It" list. I've never had it before but it sounds delish!!

That is not weird at all.

We love Tonga Toast. Although I can resist most sweets these days, I have to have at least 1/2 of a Tonga Toast each trip. So good, so rich, so sweet! Just don't put any syrup on it until you've tried it. We never use the syrup. It is already so sweet.

Another vote for Tonga Toast!!! Also, the Poly's Captain Cook quick dining venue is open 24 hours a day. We sometimes send someone out to pick up food while the kids are dressing.

Good idea about sending someone down to bring it back to the room. That will save a few $$$ and time as well! These Easter crowd rumors have me very worried - I want to get a jump on the crowds!
