Room service question?

I was looking at Coronado Springs Resort and it looks like they have room service. Is this something I can order the night before to have delivered to our room at 7am? I am thinking it would be nice to eat while we're getting ready... If I have to order when they open at 7am, how long does it take to get the food to the room?

From the CSR official thread (panel no. 5):

CSR Room Service: The CSR is the only moderate to offer a full dining menu for room service. Breakfast is served from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and all day dining is available from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
All Ears lists this menu for CSR In Room Dining (August 2010):

This is an excellent thread, very well maintained.

Thank you so much. I did see that information, but I am just looking for more details. Can I preorder our breakfast and have it delivered asap in the morning, or are we likely to be sitting there at 8am waiting for room service?? YKWIM?

Amy,

This is what I found :

Room service

Room service is available, but has a limited menu. A continental breakfast is available from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. and can be pre-ordered by hanging the menu card on your outside door handle. From 5 p.m. to 11 p.m., pizza, cold sandwiches, and salads are offered. Also in El Centro is Francisco's Lounge where from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m., you can enjoy snacks and beverages of all kinds, including their signature margaritas

This info is so outdated, must have come directly from a Disney website! lol
Fransico's is long gone, replaced by Rix, a nightclub/bar venue only open in the evenings. It's open for some seating in the daytime though if you have food from the grab-n-go at Rix Cafe next door.

I have not seen the door hanger for pre-ordering continental breakfast the past few trips to CSR either, I remember it! Yes, the room service menu is somewhat limited but all the popular options are on it. It's faster (and cheaper) just to send a person to El Centro to get food for the room from the grab-n-go, they have large carrying bags. My guess is that with room service you'd be sitting and waiting longer than you'd want to.
