room service on embarkation day?

How soon after we can get in our cabin does room service start? I'm thinking of having a late lunch that way if it's possible.

You can order as soon as your cabin is available, around 1:30pm. They do stop room service for a period of time before the muster drill, but I'm not exactly sure what time they stop.

As noted, as soon as you can get in the room, usually 1:30 pm. My first in-room activity is ordering the All Hands On Deck cheese platter to enjoy before the muster drill.

Awesome! We didn't like being in the Cabanas crowd or the crowd waiting at the port, so I think this time we're going to board about the time the cabins open so we can just go straight there and get lunch that way, and also not have to drag our carry-ons around.

FYI: all the ships now have a table service/order off menu restaurant available the day you board. It’s much better than the hectic Cabanas. It usually closes about 2pm.
