Room service food at MDR?

Is it possible to order something from the room service menu in the MDR? I'm bordering on thinking it would be rude to ask, but I'm craving BLT's like mad lately. I know I can just stay in my room but my I would like to eat with my daughter and she won't be having room service.

Order room service and take it with you. Pack a baggy or small carry box to avoid toting a big plate.

My son loves the room service grilled cheeses. Our MDR team always manages to produce them at dinner. I'm not saying it's convenient for them, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

Better to ask the night before if they can accommodate. The answer would most likely be yes. Asking the day of, that might be difficult.

I agree - ask the night before. And, please be sure to take extra good care of them at the end of the cruise for going above and beyond for you
