Can BW Villas guests use the Boardwalk room service?

Yes.

The Room Service menu @ BWV is actually a sampling of items from the various BW restaurants.

That's great.

I think we'll do room service our first night. Or eat by the pool.

But I'm not planning.

...must....not.....plan.....

...can't....handle.....the....magic:yo-yo: :hyper: :yo-yo:

BWV room service is vacation pampering to the max! You will love it!
The BWV room service menu is actually food from the boardwalk restaurants. It is not a complete menu but if there is something from a certain restaurant's menu that is not on the room service menu you can request it with no problem.
We love to get breakfast from room service on a lazy day when we are just laying back and relaxing at the pool for the day. We eat breakfast with our balcony doors open while taking in the sights and sounds of the resort and then have coffee on the balcony as we just veg out. I love it!
Another tip for the boardwalk restaurants is any of their menu items can be called in ahead of time and picked up as take out. So if you don't want the extra expense of room service but do not want to cook, yet still want to eat in your villa--this is a great convenience!
Enjoy!!!

Ordering room service on our first night at the Boardwalk has kinda become a family tradition for us. The menu is quite nice and like others have already said, it's a mix of items from all the restaurants on the Boardwalk.

You'll love it! :sunny:

We were about to set the table for the Room Service Pizza we ordered. Luckily, the attendant knocked on the door just in time.

"May I set your table"??

He came in with linen table cloth and napkins...for a PIZZA! :)

I get to do nice room service on business all the time, but this was a real treat for my DSs!

Have Fun!

Another question about this room service.

They add a large "service charge" -- I think it was 18%. Is that the gratuity?

And yet another.

If you take out, from Spoodles for example, do you need a reservation or just call ahead with your order?

The service charge added is either $3 or $4 for the entire room service order. The gratuity added is 18%. You can add more to this gratuity if you wish.

No, you do not need a reservation to get a take out order, just call ahead.

Pizza from the Spoodles pizza window on the boardwalk is great! Fast service, yummy pizza--one of the best "meals" we had on property last week.

Thanks!

I think we'll try out the room service in May.

Room service is great, but it seemed pretty pricey to me. On our first night at BWI I think we ordered a peanut butter and jelly sandwich (with potato chips) and a chicken caesar salad. No drinks. I believe the bill was over $30.00

It's great for the first night though...when you're tired and traveled! We'll do it again anyway. :)

You all have mentioned room service and the pick up windows...but are there any restaurants or fast food/counter/pizza places that deliver to BWV? Just curious if there are any other choices:cool:
