I Was Told To Select The Koo Doo Trail At The Akl As Far As A Room View
Anybody Know About This View

I stayed at AKL lats year and it was spectacular. Got upgraded to a Safari View but cannot remember what trail I was on.

Most of the views were very good. We were only onn the second floor and I think I would want to be on the third if I could...but as I said I got upgraded so I could not complain.

Hi, we stayed at the AKL in Feb. 2005. You will want a Savanna view room on either: Arusha Savanna, Sunset Savanna, or Uzima Savanna (where we stayed). Kudu Trail is one of a few trails, it's located on the Arusha Savanna. As the staff feeds the animals daily, they move around in different spots so you will have a view of them at some point. Make sure you check out the night vision they have on certain decks, call front desk to find out where this is set up. We never seen anything, but the kids think it's great! Have Fun!

We were on Zebra Trail with a savannah view this March. It's hard to go wrong at the AKL but I think that Zebra Trail would be a pretty safe choice. We were 2/5ths of the way up the trail from the main elevators and really close to a second set of elevators that took you right down by the guest laundry, Simba's Cubhouse (childcare), the Mara (counter service restaurant) and the pool.

We were on the Kudu trail, second floor (lobby floor), and about 1/2 way down. We had an amazing view. We woke up to zebras just outside our balcony one morning, and had lots of other animals very close by most days. We saw giraffs every morning, and wildebeasts.

What an amazing resort....the only problem is getting the kids to leave to go to the parks!
