Room Ressie with one adult

i thought i heard somewhere that if you have only one adult and one child they charge the child at an adult rate for something, but i'm not sure what exactly i heard. does this sound familiar to anyone? what would the impact be if an adult and a 9yo went in september on the free dining plan (if it happens, fingers crossed!)? would that mean the child would be charged for an adult admission pass? would they then therefore give her adult food credits? any insights appreciated.

No, that's not true. The room cost is the same whether you have 1 or 2 adults staying in there. The child gets the appropriate dining plan and park ticket for their age.

So...if there's free dining when you go, you'll pay:

Rack rate for the room
1 adult park pass, 1 child park pass

You'll receive adult dining credits, and the 9 year old will get child dining credits.

thanks - i wonder what i was thinking of. perhaps in the past some of their packages required two adults. good to know that this one won't (if it comes about).

I believe what you heard was related to the fact that the room rate is based on double occupanct and kids are free. The room rate however is the same regardless og the fact that there is only 1 adult - make sense?
