Room Reservatoin and FP help!

I was hoping someone would could help me? I have a one night room resevation booked at POR and then a 7 night room reservation booked at POFQ.. (couldnt' get the first night at POFQ). We have annual passes so these are all room only reservations. We made our FP selections and are all set for our trip. Now we are thinking instead of bouncing from one hotel to the other we may just stay will family for one more day in another part of florida and then just check into POFQ. If i cancel that first night would i lose all the fast passes i made? We would still ahve the 7 night reservation.

An AP holder can only make 7 days of FP+ 30 days out

And I think your on-site days count against those 7, so you probably lose any option to make FP+ for that POR check-in day (unless you cancelled FP+ for one of the 7 PORFQ days)

Your 7 night reservation should allow you to make FP+ selections for 8 days; including arrival and departure. If you have 9 days reserved, you'll probably lose one day's FP+. That's limited by your tickets, not your room reservation.

Thank you! I just cancelled my FP for my POFQ day.. nervous to cancel my room only reservation for that day too.. i'll call and ask Disney before i do i think.
