Room Reservations

Is it possible to be on 2 room reservations at once? I'm not sure if my grandson is going to be able to come with us on our trip but I would like to have a room reservation as back up just in case. We might be checking in with his Dad and then he might come after that. I am assuming we would have to formally check out my son and check him in the other resort?

Yes, you can have 2 rooms booked at the same time, same resort. Many large/extended families must do this to stay on site

The time it can get tricky is if you try to book 2 rooms at different resorts or with overlapping dates. Disney may notice that and cancel one if they do.

Yes that my issue it would be at another resort there is nothing available where we are. One is DVC and one would not be as well.

I didn't even think they would possibly cancel one.
