Room Requests

Hey y'all,

Just a quick query concerning room requests. We're off to the GF on Sunday, and I'm planning therefore to get in contact with them on Wednesday to request a MK view (we've already upgraded to the required Lagoon View). But what is the best method to do so?
In the past has anybody phoned/ faxed/ e-mailed with success ???

Also, anyone tried Virgin online check-in yet?

Hi there

I believe that the best way to request rooms is to fax the resort direct. Certainly seems to be the accepted method from reading these boards - leading to sucess as well.

You can also mention it at check-in as well.

I've always faxed direct to the resort and (touch wood so far ) have always received exactly what I've asked for, they do try to be as helpful as they can and I suspect more so at the GF.

Faxing requests is apparently becoming a bit of a no-no. The best way to get what you want is to ask when you make your reservation - all requests are then logged (although not guaranteed). As that's too late for you now, cocinelle, I'd suggest phoning.

Mentioning it at check-in gives you the least chance of success as the room will already have been assigned and the check-in staff would have to move you.
