Room Requests

Hi folks. Has anyone called or faxed their room requests to Disney in the 5 days prior to arrival? If so were requests usually honoured? We are going to Dixie Landings for the first time in a couple of weeks and would like to get a certain building. Also does anyone have the phone & fax numbers for Dixie Landings?

I did last year at CBR and got exactly what I asked for but I've been reading on the resort boards that the staff are now ignoring the faxes because there are just too many of them. I'd still say you should go ahead and give it a try...

We usually just call them and have the request added to the reservation, as a note the cast member at check in will do everything they can to accomodate you for the most part.

Worked for us in December - I faxed four days out, and asked for a quiet room near the main building, in either of the Football bldgs at ASSp and got just that.

Right on the end of bldg 7, closest to the main building and food court, and on the back side (away from the football field).

Make sure to also inquire with the CM checking you in.

Back in Oct. I didn't pre-request (is that a real word ) a room at CBR but when we checked in I asked for the Jamacia building and they put us in a great room. At that time I asked them to hold a room in the same building & same floor, for my neighbour & her dd that were arriveing to meet us 5 days laters. They put it on hold for her..and she also called 4 days prior to their arrival and the CM told her in that perfect Disney way " We've all ready taken care of all your needs Mrs Mudduck's neighbour p )"....added to protect the innocent, my neighbour
