Room requests

When is a good time to call and request North side even number room for our November trip? We have 5 nights in a dedicated 2 br at BLT and I'm just hoping for a shot at the few rooms that are Lake View but still have a view of the castle from the balcony. I didn't know if I should request that way in advance, or much closer to the travel date.

I would make the request now. Before online booking, I used to make any requests as I did the reservation.
