Here's my sad, pathetic story: Had the Port Orleans - Riverside booked at $89/night. Then we moved into our new house, and during the process I lost my reservation information and forgot to send in the deposite. (I know, I'm an idiot)
It was due yesterday and I didn't realize that I had forgotten it until last night at about 9:30 eastern time ( CRO offices closed). I called first thing this morning at 7:00 am eastern time (right after I got my Cindy's breakfast ressies
) to try and give my deposite and the CM said it was too late and there were no more AP rates at PO available.
I called three more times during the day and got the same response. I have a family of 5 so this was the only resort that would could afford to stay at on site.
So . . . later in the day I felt like gambling and decided to try Priceline - thinking I wouldn't get anything for the price I was putting in anyway. Well, lo and behold, my price did take and I ended up with Wyndham Palace. I knew the Hilton was booked during my stay as well as the Swan and Dolphin, I was just hoping to get the Marriott or Gaylord Palms. I should have known with my luck I get the least wanted pick!
Anyway, to end my long story, I need help with a room request. From posts that I've read it sounds like some areas of the hotel may be better than others. Any words of encouragement or suggestions are greatly appreciated.
