Room requests for VWL & BCV

We will be staying at VWL & BCV for the first time in May and I don't know what room locations I should request. I would sure appreciate some opinions on the best views from both resorts. Is there a thread that already addresses this? Are there any good maps that show the views? We will be staying in a studio in both resorts.

Own at the BCV and it's not really known for its 'views'. You can be near the fireworks (stand on your balcony and watch them), but believe you me, after about the 2nd night, you'd wish you weren't there! I always request to be as far away from the 'frontage' road as possible, the traffic drives me nuts!
To be quite honest, I'm happy to be in WDW at the BCV and wouldn't complain if I was again put in either of these room locations. Great resort.
I've never stayed at VWL (and was unable to be taken on a tour when I asked), but seemed to me the 'forest view' was what I'd like. It's so quiet over there, like you're not at WDW at all. Be sure and take the boat over to the campground-Disney did that right too!

Thanks to you both for the advice. I really appreciate it! I have stayed at the YC and the WL before but never at the villas so I wasn't sure what to ask for.
