Room Requests for AKL

Almost time to fax room requests to AKL for stay 11/5-9. Any suggestions for best rooms, floors, savannah, trail? We are booked for a standard savannah view. Thanks

We stayed in room 4425, which is a standard savannah view room. It was on the 4th floor, Zebra Trail overlooking the Arusha Rock savannah. We did see a ton of animals but I did notice that they stayed more along the Kudu Trail. Here is a detailed map and also suggestions on faxing. Hope this helps!!

We just got back from AKL and stayed in the Sunset Savannah on the 3rd floor (Room 3268). This was a great room for viewing the animals...no obstructions - we weren't too high or too low. There were animals out all all times of the night and day. For some reason, not sure why, zebras don't go there, but we saw all the other animals. Giraffes were around around 50% of the time. We didn't feel we really missed out or anything. Great location!

Sorry...I'm not that good with the locations at AKL...I think Sunset Savannah is on what is called the Kudu Trail. If you are looking at the map, it is the savannah on the left hand side. There are little buildings that jut out in the middle of the right side and the left side and we were in one of those, looking north (? if the map has n-s-e-w in the proper places). Hope this helps somewhat!
