Room Requests at Saratoga Springs

We have a ressie for 1 week at Saratoga Springs in Sept. Normally we stay in quieter rooms on the outskirts of the resort, but this year we would like to try and get a room near the main pool. Has anyone tried to request a certain room? Can we do this now or do we have to wait until we check in? Has anyone had luck with this? Thanks in advance for your help...my husband just asked me this question and I knew if I posted it here someone would be able to help me out!

You can request a specific room, but if its not available the room assigner won't know what your real priorities are. Instead, just request a room near the main pool. Also, at all DVC resorts, your room requests have to be done on your reservation, so just call Member Services to add this info.
