Just read this thread through - and remembered I was going to try and book a certain room for us !! Eeeep - hope I haven;t left it too late.

they asked me to phone up 2 days before as they don't allocate rooms until then??

so I am going to phone the day you go I think and request the building we want - so make sure you leave us some room!!!

We shall probably ask for Annie Oakley or the others round that area .... there is a quick way (according to the Brits Guide) to the parks through the carpark and down the main road which is faster to walk than around the lake.
