Room Request

We are arriving on Weds 4/9 about 7 pm. when we made our reservation we asked for room 1095. Is there any protocol I should follow prior to arrival to help insure that I get this room?

Or, do they only look at the request at check in?

In our experience it is more about luck than anything else as far as specific room requests. You best bet seems to be to try to get to the resort as early as possible, rooms seem to go on a first come first served basis...

I wouldn't have your heart set on a certain room. For all you know, someone who checked in yesterday and is staying a week may already be in that room. You only have a chance to get it if someone is checking out of it on Wednesday morning (or if it's empty Tuesday night). They do pre-assign some rooms by requests, you can call or send a fax repeating your request to be sure they have it, but it's no guarantee. I would instead say what you are looking for in general (first floor, close to the elevator, etc). Which resort are you staying at? Alot of the BWV standard views are out of service for renovation.
