Room request

Well, our plans to scuba dive in the Keys are shot this summer, darn oil! So we are ending our WDW vacation at US and planning on staying at Portobello Royal Hotel.

My DH has mobility issues, so can anyone suggest an area for us to ask for. We would like to be close to the Beach pool and water taxi area. Would the west wing area of the hotel meet those criteria?

Any suggestions? We have never been to US and are excited

I didn't know there was a Portobello Royal Hotel. It's not one of the three Universal hotels. The onsite hotels are Portofino Bay Hotel, Royal Pacific Resort, and Hard Rock Hotel. I'm not sure that anyone here can help you with where you are staying.

I think its Portofino you are staying, and west wing would be good for beach pool.
Damo & barb on here prefer Portofino , i have stayed twice,in the west wing, and west wing would be good to stay in, and its ideal for the water taxi as well.
