Room Request Question?

My DH and I are taking a trip to BCV 12/30 - 01/03 to celebrate our 10th anniversary (12/31/03). In the past when we were celebrating special occasions we would note that when we faxed the room controller our room requests a few days prior to our arrival. This is our first time celebrating a special occasion at a DVC resort. Is it appropriate to let anyone know? If so, who? Member services or fax the room controller? Thanks.
 
we got send out a email not to fax the room controller - so make sure that Member services knows how special this occasion is for you.

when you check in - make sure the front desk also knows how special these days are.

what are you hopeing for?
 
DVC has stopped taking room requests other than through MS.
 
Thank you for your replies. I guess the only thing I'm really wishing for is to have my room requests met. We stayed at BCV a few weeks ago and requested an Epcot view and did not get it, despite the fact we booked 11 months out. We are in the same situation for our New Years trip and I was hoping to get the Epcot view I requested when I made my reservation.
 

They are now using room ready above meeting requests. It doesn't say what time you are getting to BCV but if it is early, and you are unable to have your "requested view" at check-in, ask if you can wait for a room with that view.

I did that at VWL over the summer. It meant not getting in a room at 11:30am which was ready but getting in a room I wanted at 5pm. I felt in my case it was worth the wait.
