Room request for POFQ...help

I have never stayed at the POFQ before (I'M PSYCHED!!!!)and am wondering which rooms are the all around best located to the pool, main bldg and bus stop without being preferred. I would rather be closest to pool first, bus next and then food court area. Thanks!! Any other 'ins and outs' (which floor is best, etc) of the POFQ would be greatly appreciated!! Can't wait!!

the word is Bldg 5 is the closest to everything

personally I hope to be farthest from everything. I like my quiet time and its a small resort so nothing it too far away

I've been unable to confrim, but I have seen that Building 6 has smoking rooms, which, depending on your smoking preference, you may wish to avoid.

I had similar questions as I just booked POFQ for 05/02 through 05/08. Mostly, I am finding good things about this property.

actually, building #4 is the absolute closest to everything I think...we stayed in this building last year and was literally 10-15 seconds to the parking lot and bus stop, 30 seconds to food court and maybe 1 minute to the pool....POFQ is a super compact resort and I don't think you can really be too far from anything no matter which building you're staying in.

I stayed at CBR and at that resort location is so important!
We stayed at POFQ last May and it was so wonderful! It is small compared to the other moderates.So it really doesn't matter which building you are in they are all close to pool and buses.

cheerdaddy...thank you! That was an awesome map!! It looks like everything is really close together.....looks like bldgs 2-5 are all excellent locations! Do all rooms have the trundle beds?

I actually just asked for building for when I made my ressie from looking at the map. I have read somewhere that buildings 4 and 6 are smoking. No one seems to know if this is still the same after the redo.

the description of the marina says u can rent water raycers...are these the same as water mice?

Bldg. 2 is my favorite at POFQ. It has a pool view, is close to the Food Court and the Boat Launch to DTD. We are going 4/28 thru 5/3 and have already requested Bldg. 2, first floor. We've stayed at POFQ many times and once you stay there, it will become your favorite Disney resort!!

Does anyone know if theses or the mice are really avalible at this resort. I keep finding different answers.

Hi,

We stayed in bldg 5 which was directly across from the pool. Nice location! But as the previous poster said the whole resort is small so I doubt there is a bad location.

I believe bldg 5 was n/s(didn't smell anything in the room). But I'm not sure.

We stayed in building 5 on the side that overlooks "Beignet Square" (which is a big, open, grassy, courtyard area-very pretty). We were on the top floor and it was always SO quiet up there! There never seemed to be anyone around. And actually both rooms on either side of us were empty so that was nice. I am pretty sure building 5 is totally non-smoking. We were adamant about being as far away from smoke as possible.

We were in Bldg 5 - at the end of the bldg that over looks Cafe au Lait Way. Ground level... it was wonderful. As everyone has said, it's a VERY compact resort. Short walk to the water taxi dock, pool or food court. This particular room in addition to being quiet, had a view of the water - even though I paid for a standard view - and we could hear the soft hum of the water taxi as it went by...

My daughter also loved the rabbits that hang out in the square near Bldg 5 (I'm sure they're elsewhere, but that is the only place we saw them).
