Room request for med reasons at OKW

Yes, we do want to chance it. Maybe it doesn't make a lot of sense to others outside our situation. I've stated some of the reasons in my previous posts in this thread. There are also others that are personal and I don't care to air on a public board.

I finally saw the "Can this happen?" thread and reading it has been enlightening. Are you assuming the issue with HA GVs will get worse with OKW as owners age?

I personally don't think you will be "chancing" much. We have never had any trouble getting what we absolutely NEEDED (we don't make frivolous view requests, we only make a medical request). I find that if you aren't asking for the moon, you often get it where DVC is concerned. I read on here all the time about folks requesting to be "near hospitality house", and I have never made that request. I have usually only made medical requests, and they have always been satisfied. The other odd thing is that we have more often than not been placed "near Hospitality House" even though we have NEVER requested that! Have a GREAT trip!

Your choice of course, I'd say your chances of success are very high but not 100%. Just be prepared to leave the ECV somewhere and have to deal with stairs in case you don't get your request. The rest of your post has me curious but I won't ask. Good luck, I hope it works out.
