Room request for for online check-in is working!

The room request section of online check-in worked for me just now! I was updating my credit card for my already completed check-in for next week (checking in to Pop Century on Tuesday), and I was able to select room requests from the drop-down menu. I went back and checked from a different browser, and the request I made is still there. So it's working again...for now.

Keywords...for now. LOL. I experience the website going down everytime I go to use it, including this morning when I went to schedule my 60 day FP+. Lovely.
 
Thanks @ColoradoMom12! Good catch! You’re right - I just checked mine for an upcoming Poly reservation and now have “balcony” as an option in both drop down boxes. They were both empty on Saturday when I checked.

Curious, can you share what options you were given for your Pop reservation?
 

Would you mind sharing your resort and what options you had? Just curious what all Disney has added this time around. Thanks!

Kidani--not sure if I'm remembering all of the options, but some were as follows: near lobby, near elevator, near transportation, highest floor, upper floor, lower floor. There may have been more, but I don't remember.
 
Thanks for the heads up! Unfortunately, it didn't really help me - went from no room request options to only highest floor and upper floor for the Grand Floridian. Gonna have to resort to phoning in my requests ...

Which is always the best option.
 
I can see the room options, however it isn’t saving my selections. I select an option and save it and then go back and it’s not there.
 
Mine worked, but only for highest floor, near lobby......it works for me, by the way, it was for the Boardwalk inn. Thanks ColoradoMom12 for the input!!

This was happening to me some time last year; however, when i called, the CM could actually see my requests on their screen, so even though it looked to me like it hadn't saved, it actually had.

So odd, first request is grayed out. Says connecting rooms.... with who???
 
You don't have to depend on the room request section of Online Check In. Calling them in is always an option. And normally the best option.

Unless you don't feel like calling. Besides I understand a request is a request so if I don't get it I'm not heartbroken.
