The room request section of online check-in worked for me just now! I was updating my credit card for my already completed check-in for next week (checking in to Pop Century on Tuesday), and I was able to select room requests from the drop-down menu. I went back and checked from a different browser, and the request I made is still there. So it's working again...for now.
