Room request..do you get confirmation?

When we made our reservations for CR - I was just so happy to get AP code that I just booked. Then after doing some reading - I called back to add that I would like the highest floor possible. Will I get an e-mail with the new addition? Should I call and check??

I do not believe that you will get an e-mail confirming your request. You can call to make sure that it was added to the reservation. I did that for our reservation at the Poly, because what I requested was not on the e-mail. So I called and they confirmed that it was noted on the reservation. Just remember, it is a request, Disney does not guarantee that requests will be met, they try, but not all people get what they requested.

You won't get anything with the request noted. If you did, then everyone (well, not everyone) with a certain request noted who checked in and didn't get that request would put that confirmation out to the front desk Cast Member and demand (ask) it be met.

Just call about two weeks before you go and make sure that request is in the system. It will appear on the front desk Cast Member's screen and the room assignor will have seen it before.

I am not sure if this would help but when you check-in ask the Cast Member to confirm your request for a high floor and see what happens.

You can call & if you are making a payment make a request & ask for another email with your request listed on it. No it doesn't mean you will get your request but it will be noted. See below.
