Room request - can you do this online?

We have ressies for AKV for January. I am wondering if there is a spot on the DVC member site where I can request 'near lobby, lower floor' etc rather than calling member services?

You can can e-mail member services.

Emails don't seem to always get confirmed and you would never know if they added your request to your reservation.

Speaking from experience, Please CALL! We made a request on one of our reservations through MS email and it was never added to our reservation. We unfortunately did not find this out until we arrived. I utilize the email at MS for inquiries only and then follow up with phone calls. If email is the only alternative, then print out all correspondence and bring with you in your travel documents for check-in.

Sometimes it's too late at check-in, rooms have already been assigned and they don't have what you requested available. My experience is BWV always pre-assigns.

For our November trip I made a request via the web site regarding the location of our tree house villa. I received a reply confirming that the request had been added to the reservation. When I checked in they informed me that my request had been granted. It worked perfectly for us.

We called for our Dec OKW and asked near HH and got Bldg 27 a great place

As noted right now requests need to be made through MS. The on-line check-in program has a box that is designated as a place in which you can put up to two requests while doing on-line check-in but it does not yet allow you to actually put in any requests.

I believe on line check in has only 2 request first floor & near transportation

I also used the online MS contact form just last week to add a room request, and I got an email confirmation the next day saying that it had been added.

If your reservation is at Jambo House, there is basically only one floor of DVC (except for the five two bedroom lockoffs on the sixth floor - Concierge).

The on line check in program belongs to Disney Resorts and is designed for their cash Guests. DVC is just using the program so the requests aren't applicable.

All requests should be made to MS either via a phone call or via the member website form.
