Room request at HRH - best way?

I am staying in a king suite at the HRH at the end of the week, I am thinking of requesting a pool view on a high floor, whats the best way to request this? Phone, email or fax?

Also I am a Loews platinum member and got the suite at a discounted rate, would I be pushing my luck asking for an upgrade?

Call them about 4 days before, that's what we did and it worked perfectly. As for an upgrade, it is likely considering you are a Platinum member of Loew's. It's worth a shot asking.
