Room request at BWV

We are traveling for our first DVC trip to BWV with a 5 year old, 3 year old, and 5 month old. Obviously, we will need to take a stroller. We have pool/garden view. What room request(s) should I make? I want our first trip to be really great so we know we made the right decision purchasing.

Also, we like to feed the kids, put them in bed, and eat take out in the quiet. Do any of the restaurants at BWV do take out where we could just call and order and run down pick it up and bring it back to our room?

the only request I make is "near the elevators". Those hallways are loooong!

Spoodles has a take out window (pizza) although not sure if it will still be open - Boardwalk Bakery has fantastic sandwiches/salads; ESPN may have take out?? Not sure on that one.

We had a room overlooking the main pool (we don't have a clown phobia) but were quite a ways from the elevator - however we were very close to the stairs - not great for you though with strollers! I too would ask for near elevators (not right beside, though) or ?perhaps 1st floor? There are many doors leading out to main pool area - not sure if you like 1st floor or not.

Have fun - the kids will have a ball - one of my boys' favourite places!

I've had poor luck (used to be zero luck until my last trip) getting room request met. If we asked to be close to the elevators, we were as far as you could get. When we asked for high floor, we discovered how convienent the pool was if you were on the ground floor. Back when there was smoking - yeah, we asked for no smoking and got smoking. So be reasonable in your expectation that it will be met - it doesn't hurt to ask, but being disappointed.....

Last trip we had two two bedrooms. I put on both reservations that this was my sister's cancer recovery trip (she is 41 years old and has a two year old and a four year old - and only one breast now - but no cancer) and that we wanted rooms close to one another. They came through - two rooms, right next door. I'm not sure if it was luck, or the note on the reservations, or if BWV suddenly got better at meeting my requests, but this was the one time it was important.

Then I don't think Village Green view is an option. It is right near the elevator and looks out on the lawn area in front of Flying Fish but I think it is all studios. Your best bet, I guess, would be to request "close to elevator" and hope for the best. Good luck!

Ditto on the "near" the elevator. Big River Grill and ESPN also do take-out. Please remember this is only a request and don't let anything spoil your trip. I've gotten about a third of my requests over the years.

Thanks everybody. I appreciate the info and glad to know there is take out. No big deal if we don't get our request. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something big that I should ask for like a view for fireworks or something like that.
