We will be staying at BCV for the first time in May :goodvibes It will be me, DH, DS, DD, and DM. Are there any room requests we should think of making? I don't usually put requests in, but I'm always reading of requests like near elevator/near lobby/room numbers/near room ???? (for the shortcut outside) Having never stayed here I thought I should ask the experts! Thanks for helping a newbie out! :thumbsup2

We have requested in the past Epcot views so we could see the fireworks at night. Some prefer the pool view since it can be quieter at night. The last time we stayed on the 2nd floor and had an awesome balcony.

We just say upper floor, so we can see something over the trees, lol.

I even do not mind the "road view" that some people complain about. I have had rooms there a few times, and I can hear the sounds from the Great Britain band, and see the Epcot fireworks if we turned to the side.

We had the pool view once, top floor, and I took funny pictures from the room of the kids below in the water. I could even yell down that dinner was ready, haha.

BCV is not about the views, which almost takes the stress away about worrying about what view you will get. None of them are much better than the other. I would not want the lowest floors though, but maybe that is just me.

We too request upper floors with an EPCOT view, if possible. ;)

Unfortunately, there isn't a view called "Epcot view". You can request pool/water, woods, garden.

Which two bedroom did you get? A dedicated with two queens in the second bedroom? The dedicated with one queen and one double sleeper sofa or the lockoff?

I know  I feel very lucky!! With friends flying in from Washington we really needed the beds. Thanks everyone for your advice. It has been helpful! We'll just take what we can get, I'm just excited to get the BCV for my sons birthday :cool1:

this i remember when we traveled with my parents & sister. we did not put in any room requests. we had three rooms and when we checked in they did tell us we would were going to have epcot view. it was very nice, but my parents asked if there was a quieter area. they said a room facing the quiet pool was available. a few years ago, so i can't recall the room number but it was indeed an enormous angled balcony. we had a nice view ourselves on the other side but what a nice balcony they had!
