Room request at AKL

We rented points for a Savannah view at AKL in May. How would I go about making a room request to be close to the elevator? When I tried to do online check in, the only request options were the two different Savannah views.

Only the member can make your requests. Which building are you in, Jambo House or Kidani Village?

I'm renting and on Online check in I pick sunset and close to elevator

Go back in and try editing. I did online check in as a renter a few days ago and selecting close to elevator was a choice.

Thank you for all your help! I will try to go in and do it again. We are staying at Kidani Village.

FYI, there are many banks of elevators in Kidani, so close to an elevator only means you may be close to your car parked under the resort. Elevators can be far from the lobby, pool, and/or bus stop.

I didn't realize that! Thank you for clarifying. Is it better to ask to be close to the lobby elevators?

If you want near lobby, I would just ask "lobby"

or "pool" or "transportation" if you want those proximities.

I am renting and was able to make requests at online checkin as well. I was also able to link the reservation to my "my Disney experience" account. I chose Sunset Savannah close to the lobby, and the owner I rented form added lower floor by phone.

When I go on to online check in, there are two box options to choose between the two Savannah's. Am I looking in the wrong area?

It is a very long walk from one end of the savanna to the other, do what you can, even at arrival to get close to the lobby.

Try and check in through the new Disney website instead of the MyDisneyReservation.com site or whatever it's called.

The new website for some reason gives you far more options to request than just choosing between 2 savanna views.

thats what I did and I had like 6 different options. I was able to choose 2.

Dont know where that thumbs down came from or how to get rid of it???
