Room req question

Does anyone know if you can make your own room request if you used a travel agent to book the vacation. Another story, but...I don't want to rely on her to handle the faxing of a room request since we've gotten such poor service from this agent. I'm asking this because after we let this agency make our reservations, the Disney people wouldn't talk directly to us anymore. Let me know. Thanks.

I just read on the "Faxing Your Room Preferences to Your Disney Hotel" that if you use a travel agent, he/she has to make the room request. Too bad.

Send the fax request yourself anyway. The worst thing that will happen is you don't get what you ask for. The best thing is you do.

If you don't get what you wanted, work with the check-in CM. They will move you. There may even be something better available then.
