Traveling with DW for our 20th anniversary (when did we get so old??) coming up in May and have 3 staterooms in mind on the Disney Dream. The rooms are 5192, 6192, and 10166. All are at the very back of the boat. The room on the 5th deck has the smallest balcony but the most shade which would make it nice for napping without baking. Also, it's the same deck as the movie theater which we always take advantage of during a cruise. The room on the 10th deck has the biggest verandah of the three rooms in question. Yes some complain of noise in the morning or being wet from wash downs of the Cabanas, but I'm quite sure none of that would bother us. Another advantage is that it would be close to the Cabanas, and the pool deck. 6192 has is kind of in between both rooms as far as advantages and disadvantages. Anyways, please weigh in. No feedback is bad feedback. Thanks again!!!

I'd go with decks 5 or 6, but that's just me. Only because after shows, the lines for the elevators are packed, and it's easier to just take the stairs. I'd rather walk up one or two flights as opposed to five.

That's really it. I haven't ever experienced any unbearable noise on any decks that interrupted sleep or detracted from my experience in any way. :) And I'm in good shape and I can handle stairs. I just figure I'm on vacation, so... why? lol Y'all have fun! :)

Happy Anniversary!!!! :cake: pixiedust: I'm bumping this for you, since there's just been one reply. I have only been on the Dream a couple of times so I will let others weigh in for you! Happy planning! :cutie:

I love the aft cabins on the Dream class ships and prefer deck 6. However, those middle cabinets can be a little problematic because of the flag. Especially when you're in Port if it's windy at all the flag is waving all around and sometimes makes quite a bit of noise. The verandas are nice and big, I think there's even enough room for a lounge chair in those middle cabins. No experience with deck 10, but there won't be Flag issues.

We stayed on deck 10. Loved the larger veranda and got a lot of use out of it. However, I am a very light sleeper and the noise from Cabanas was frustrating in the morning. The rest of my family was not bothered by it at all.
