can anyone reccomend to me which is best out of the casitas, cabanas, or ranchos at CSR?
which rooms are the prettiest/best located?

i have arthritis so if at all possible id like to request a room somewhat close to the food court area so i dont have to walk miles and miles just to get a drink or something..are any of the rooms like..crazy far out of the way to the food court? i can deal with alot of walking sometimes but im saving my strength for MK lol ;)

also, ive been reading alot of reviews/posts and it seems like the ranchos arent particularly well liked by many people..why are they less popular?

tia! :)

eep sorry for the double posting! my comp. went crazy :guilty:

I like casita 3, cabana 9b and rancho 7b. Also, you can use the internal shuttle system at CSR so you don't have to worry about the walk to any of the villages.

In case you don't have it, here is a link to a CSR resort map - http://www.wdwinfo.com/resortmaps/cspringsmap.htm . When my family and I have stayed at CSR, we usually stayed in the Cabanas section, buildings 9A or 9B. The Cabanas are fairly close to the food court, pools and the El Centro bus stop.

If being close to the food court is important, Cabanas building 9 and Casitas building 1 are the closest. The Ranchos are nice but they are fairly far from the registration desk and food court, so that might be one reason they are less popular. On the plus side, it's fairly quiet in this area. Now CSR is also a convention center and many of the people attending conventions stay in the Casitas section because it's close to the meeting rooms. As a result, it may be a little bit noisy in the evenings.

This map is not valid. CSR does not use it nor have they. Too many letters and numbers.

Cabanas 8a, 8b, 9a and 9b
Ranchos 6a, 6b, 7a and 7b
Casitas 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5
