Finally days away from our trip! After getting bounced around three different resorts, we'll be checking into Riviera this week. I live about 2.5 hours away and will be driving. For those of you that have stayed at Riviera (or maybe you can just help me out!!), what is the earliest your room has been ready there? I have a Teams meeting at 9. We don't know if we should leave at 6 AM the latest for us to get there and hope the room is ready, or if I should just have the meeting in the car during the drive.

I'm in a tough position because I planned this trip months ago after having to reschedule our March trip and now, within the past few weeks, I've suddenly become a teacher and have planning to do during our trip. If the room isn't ready by the time we arrive to the resort, does anyone know if there is at least somewhere quiet where I can sit in the resort for an hour or so for my meeting?

I definitely wouldn't expect the room to be ready at 9am. Check in is 4pm. We stayed at Riviera last week and our room was ready at 2:43 pm. Having said that, there were lots of quiet areas. The Voyagers lounge next to the coffee shop (I think that was the name of it) was always empty. You could try getting there early, hoping for the best that you can get into your room, and be prepared to find a quiet space if not. There were also plenty of quiet tables outside overlooking Caribbean Beach.

How long is your meeting? I'd probably just do the meeting at home, especially if it would end by one, then head out to Riviera. DVC check ins are usually really strict.
