Room Rates on Disney Site

Ok I am trying to figure this out. I always get a cast member discount thanks to a wonderful friend. So I really had no idea what the actual rate has ever been. I would always base it on the seasonal rate that wason the site, now I am thinking- dumb move.

So I was just on their site trying to figure out some things because my husband had thought a long time ago he had found a "good deal on a package" and I wondered what the rates actually were...so I began to investigate.

Looking at the Seasonal Rates for the Regular Season for which we would be going was 10/2-11/29 which lists *275 and at the bottom it states for most Sunday through Thursday stays - (this was for a deluxe resort, the BC) so I picked EVERY Sunday-Thursday and the only room rate I have gotten is 370 bucks. Can someone help me figure this out?

Not sure where you are seeing the 275 rate. On the disney front page for deluxe resorts it shows rates from 215 and up, but that would not be for the beach club. On the beach club page it shows 370 as the rate for regular season

Where is that, I was looking at 2008 seasonal rates where it says deluxe from 275. I see where BC is 325 on the main page, but I have not found where it says 370.

Wilderness Lodge and Animal Kingdom Lodge start at those rates for regular seasons. They are Deluxe resorts but the rooms are a bit smaller. AllEars.net is a great site to see the description of each resort with prices and pictures.
In short, not all resorts are priced out the same, even in the same, especially in the deluxe category.

I never look on the Disney site for rates. They couldn't make it more confusing if they tried (although maybe that's the point).

Oh I know that WL and AKL are both less expensive. It just seems like Disney is being a bit deceptive in my opinion by listing the least expensive hotels and the least expensive rates. I just assumed the 325 was the average rate I guess, I should have checked into it more. I will say that while I love Disney World, I am becomming more and more disgruntled with their practices. I realize the company is about making money, but GEEZ! I had a wedding there and whew....ask me about that!
