Beat the price increase buying Annual Pass yesterday, not planning anything big until Nov-Dec, but when are rooms priced lowest, at the start of Nov or Dec, or should I continue to buy points from DVCers?

It seems to me prices are lower after Thanksgiving and the first three weeks of Dcember. I love Disney have an annual pass and travel to Disney three times a year. I'm retired and on a fixed income so my salary doesn't increase so I'm going to have to rethink our Disney travel. We always stay on site but I think that is going to change. I loved staying at the poly but they charge so much we can stay there anymore. I guess they are going to over price the other hotels so we can't stay there either. I am disappointed in Disney.

Depending on which resort you are staying at but this year - the week before Christmas (beginning 12/13) is starting peak rate times. Pretty much the 1st week of November thru Thanksgiving week and the Sunday after Thanksgiving until 12/13 are the same (cheapest) for that time period

Yup, know the feeling... We're AP holders. Over 45 trips to WDW, and all bit a couple were deluxe stays..

Discounts have gotten slim, deluxes are just about out priced...Poly, Y&B for sure... Even our favorite, WL has gotten out if range...

Last 2 trips we stayed moderate, POFQ.... Same as a deluxe, no, but more doable with being retired and on a fixed income ..

When we're out priced out of the mods, that will be an end to our WDW vacations... I will not stay off property nor in a value....!
