Room only vs package?

If you book room only can you still ad MYW tickets? Do you still get early entry and are able to stay late at the parks? When is your money due in full to the hotel?

Do you have to have a package to use the free airport transfers? Do you have to have a package to add dining?

I know if you book a package, your balance is due in full 45 days out. What about just room? Couldnt you just buy your tickets right before you went?

Sorry..its lots of questions, but we are trying to get our group all there and work out the kinks.

we always book room only, and as long as you're staying on WDW property, you get the extra magic hours. from what I understand, and others can certainly correct me if I'm wrong, but I think you need to book a package to get the free transpo from the airport. We have paid the balance on our rooms when we check in. We're AP holders, so we have tickets already when we get there, although for our next trip, we'll be renewing.

If you book a room only, you can still purchase MYW park tickets at any time. You still get all the advantages of a Disney resort guest, including early entry and Disney transportation.

You must book a package to take advantage of the airport transfer and the MYW dining program.

If you book a room only from Disney, you are immediately charged for one night on a credit card (or you can mail them a check). The balance is not due until you arrive for your vacation.

You certainly can book a room and buy your park passes separately. In fact, there are several ticket agencies that sell them a little bit cheaper than Disney does!

You can purchase MYW tickets prior to/or at the time of stay. You only have to be a Disney hotel guest to get the early entry/late exit. Early entry you will need to show your room key to prove Disney hotel guest. Late exit you must show your room key and get your wrist band at the park. I am not sure by what time but there are certain hours to get this band and if you dont have it on you will NOT be allowed to enjoy the rides.

You must book a package to do the "Dining package". The Magic transfers to/from airport are available to all Disney resort guests. Only certain airlines are currently able to do the check you bags at the departing airport. However you can always take your bags to the "Magic" busses to use the transfers to/from the airport. I would call to see if you need to make prior arrangements to use to/from arrangements to make sure you wont have to wait to long.

You will have to put down a 1 night deposit for each room when booking room only. The balance is due either at check in or check out. Only the packages must be paid for in entirety 45 days out.

Remember room only is just that room only. You will not receive luggage tags, lithographs, Photos or any of the other "Free" stuff that is included with package plans.
