Placeholder and concierge

Hi! I have a question about using a placeholder and concierge. We booked 2 placeholders on our last cruise. For our next cruise, we're considering sailing concierge. If we're looking to sail in summer 2027, I assume none of those sailings will be on the limited list of sailings where concierge gets a 10% discount. Is there any benefit to applying the placeholder to a concierge booking if we won't get the 10%? What if that sailing becomes eligible for the 10% later? And what if we want to invite family to sail with us? Could they use one of our placeholders and get a discount (assuming they want a non-concierge stateroom), even if we don't use one for a concierge room?

Thanks in advance! Our cruise last year was our first Disney cruise, so we're still figuring out how the placeholder system works!
