Hello folks,

We're trying to book our January trip and trying to add the Memory Maker, but it doesn't have the option for Room Only booking.
Is this the norm or maybe I'm doing something room while trying to checkout.
Or is Memory Maker just a Package Only Feature?

Thanks again for any reply and sorry if this is posted in the wrong section.

You should be able to purchase Memory Maker with a room only reservation through your MDE account. I've done it myself. I'm not sure why it's not showing up for you.

I'm on the site now and it says to add MM you must have a package (room and tickets). I'm trying to decide too what the best deal is and if it's any cheaper to get it now vs buy later price.

The price recently went up so it probably won't change again soon.

As far as room only vs package, I definitely purchased and had a room only reservation. I bought tickets separately (from UT) and had everything linked in MDE when I made the purchase.

You may have to call to do it. I have the option to add memory maker on mine, I bought my tickets 3rd party. I have a room+dining package through disney, though. I had to have my TA call to book that option without the tickets.

I also purchased Memory Maker through MDE (website, not app) last year when I had a room only reservation. You don't need to be a Disney resort guest to purchase Memory Maker, so I can't imagine that a package is required.

I just signed into my MDE account on my laptop and on the bottom of the MDE home page I have a big box about Memory Maker with a 'Purchase Memory Maker' link. (And I already have it through my AP, and have no current room reservation).

The only caveat that I can possibly think of ...
Perhaps you have to have tickets linked to your account? I have an active AP and last year when I added Memory Maker I did it after I had already linked tickets purchased separately from my room reservation through Disney.
