We are getting ready to go on our vacation very soon and I was wondering if we are suppose to get any paper work in the mail from the GF resort about our upcoming vacation? I never received any kind of paperwork. Am I suppose to?? I didn't do a package deal, just room only reservation. I have my reservation # so I'm assuming that is all I need because when I called to make all of my ADR's, they had my reservation information. Just asking, as we are down to getting things around and in the prep mode now. If you can help answer my question, I really would appreciate it-THANKS :)

Yes you should get a confirmation form/letter from Disney. It takes a couple weeks before you get the letter. Now if you used a travel agent then they would have the confirmation paperwork and they should send it to you.

Our vacation is pretty much right down to that dateline and I've received no paperwork whatsoever. Looks like I may need to notify by calling the reservation line today. If there was any paperwork, it should have been sent out to me long ago I would have thought. THANKS!

If you are booked room only and you are not using Magical Express I don't think you receive anything other than the original confirmation email. Print it out and take it with you. I know we only receive confirmation emails and we haven't had any problems at check-in. If they don't have your reservation at the GF when you get there you can always try to get a room at AKL, CSR, or the Poly.;) Seriously though it shouldn't be a problem at all - have a great time!pixiedust:

I believe for the past two to three years I have not received a confirmation in the mail from WDW. I just print out the e-mail. I think you can also print something out on the website if you have your confirmation number.

That is correct. "Room only" ressies do not receive any additional paperwork. All you need is your reservation number (from the original confirmation).

The mailer (containing additional info and luggage tags and such) only goes out to those who book a MYW package &/or are using ME.

I made my reservation over the phone and received nothing in the mail. And no email confirmation either. All I needed when checking in was the confirmation number.

I actually am glad not to be receiving anything in the mail. Lots of waste.

We have only done room-only ressie's until this year and in the past we have received a letter stating our balance, which also included our reservation number. Of course, i had to ask for it as they are supposed to automatically be delivered. There's been an issue with this and confirmation emails for quite some time. Call them and ask for it and they will send you paperwork on your ressie. I'll dig around and try to find my old ones. If i find them, i'll scan and post them up.

For my families upcoming room only reservatuons to WDW we have only got an e-mail confirmation. Last year we got both the e-mail confirmations and ones that got mailed to our house, however for whatever reason we did not get any mailed for this year.

If you're resigistered online with disney go to my vacation and enter your confirmation# and print out the sessie to take with you so that there are not problems at ck in.! If you're not registered go online & register it takes a day for you to enter system. Also call as a back up. Have a great trip...

You can (or used to be able to) call and request that they send you your reservation info. We always like to recieve this info in the mail as it is great for the scrapbook. So if you really want something in the mail you might want to see if they are still able to do this.

We just booked our August/September trip a few weeks ago and in a few days received an e-mail showing our reservation and pricing, printed it out to take with us. We've done this for the last 5 trips. We call CRO, make our claim, they give us a number and ask for our e-mail address and send a confirmation to it. Simple as pie.

We only received paper work for our package (around the 30 day mark). We had room only also at the end of our stay and only received email confirmation for that shortly after we booked.
