Room only reservations and magicbands

If I book a room only reservation, when will our magicbandsof be mailed to us? Same as package booking?

If we wait until check-in to pay any balance for the room will we still be able to get the magicbands before we arrive or will they only ship if the room is paid in full by a certain date?

Magic bands will come in the mail, just like package ones as long as you make your reservation in time. I have booked 30 days out and have received them.

No need to pay in full until arrival

if your booking within 1 week of arrival, you'll get grey ones at the resort. If your booking 2-3 weeks in advance you'll get customized ones but handed to you at the resort. if your booking 4+ weeks away you'll get them in the mail. International travelers usually pick theirs up at the resort but there is some exceptions and it'll be clear if you fall into that category.

It's your room key, you'll get one as long as you have a room and didn't opt out of getting them.

We just booked room only for Janurary and my TA said Disney would mail them within 3 weeks of our arrival date. I think this was the only one of your questions that didn't get specifically answered with the good info above.

We had a six night room only last year. Only paid a one night deposit when we booked. Received our bands about three weeks before we left. Paid the balance of our room with gift cards when we checked in wearing our magic bands!!! No problems!!
