Hi,

Can anyone confirm if this is correct.

The 10% discount for fantasy passports on room only rates is only for certain dates.

I had this quoted to me this morning when getting some prices.

Stranger still on the 19th Nov for 3 nights, Expedia has the Cheyene for £177 but Disney wanted £182.28.

Still looking around at options, will my shareholder card give me any better prices and is there any restrictions on number of rooms & nights etc.

AFAIK, 10% reduction for Fantasy AP is only on certain dates. For Dream AP is 10% reduction all year and up to 30% on certain dates.

Chris, I think that you and I are going through the same exercise for similar dates!!! I too am looking at Expedia, calling, and looking at DLRP website, albeit the German site.

At this point I am just as confused as you! I would like to stay 5 nights in Nov, but am able to pull up a 4=3 rate of 459 Euro for one guest at the Cheyenne which I think may trump other deals. The problem is that I can't get a clear answer even when calling; some agents don't even seem aware of the 25-30% discount, and it doesn't appear to be loaded yet for November :confused3

At this point I would consider this a fairly short term booking ie we are about 8 weeks from travel dates but I still can't figure out prices.

So, sorry, no answers for you, just confusion myself!

Thanks for the comments,

Its worse for me as our party will be 5 people which makes it harder, as I can get the Explorers hotel for only £196 total for 3 nights.

Still can't decide :rotfl:

Tell me about it!. I'm hoping that as the next issue of Envie-De + should be the issue to cover October / November / December, that its release is on the horizon in the next week or so.

I can't imagine that they will want to miss the chance to tell us all about the Halloween season, which didn't appear to be covered in Issue 11.

I'm daily checking the AP part of the official DLRP site to see if it's now available.

Regards

Iain

I'm in the same boat - I can get a 2 bedroom at the Marriott for chicken feed...

That's why I like 'best price guarantee' companies (airline and hotel) where you don't need to keep searching and searching.

Now my favourite german TUBI site doesn't even match the DLRP site, so I am even more confused.

Chris, I know that it's a hassle with a party of 5, but I may actually consider a split stay - 3 or 4 nights at a DLRP hotel, and a few nights offsite.

Good luck with searching for the best rates :thumbsup2

Somehow I am hearing evil laughter in the background as I read this.... ;)
